Missouri Valley Folklife Society

Missouri Valley Folklife Society (MVFS) is an all-volunteer not-for-profit Kansas City regional organization committed to bringing high quality traditional, folk music and dance performances to the Kansas City area. Recent concert seasons included Battlefield Band, Flook, Kevin Burke with Johnnie Connelly and Ged Foley, The Black Brothers, Brewer & Shipley, and the annual Metro Artists Concert with Eddie Delahunt and Tullamore. While many concerts feature Irish and Scottish roots music, bluegrass, classic folk, and other acoustic traditional music is presented. (from the mvfs.org home page)
