There is a new Acoustic Music Jam at Bobby Q's in Arlington Heights, IL.
It starts on 6/8/08 and we hope to continue holding it on the second and fourth Sundays of each month starting at 4:30PM and continuing as long as people want to play before the restaurant closing time of 8PM. We expect a good solid dose of bluegrass, blues, country, folk and "misc" acoustic styles. We will promote a song circle approach in the jams.

LilFest presents a wide continuum of genres, blending international touring artists with student talent, regionally based instrumentalists with emerging singer-songwriters. World music, traditional and contemporary folk, blues, classical are all included. The keywords are quality, community, and welcome.
In its sixth year, the venues include a 100 year old home in Wilmette, a full time venue in Evanston, and other larger North Shore spaces.
