Old Time Traditional Music: Hilton Head area

I moved here 3 years ago from the North West corner of New Jersey. I have been playing traditional string band music for many years [primarily clawhammer banjo although I also play fiddle, mandolin and guitar]. When I moved South I thought I would find plenty of the old time music. Wrong! What happened is I moved into the low-country and the old time stringband music is in the mountains. Outside of Gullah music there appears to be no intrest here in traditional music. I have found and old time music jam in Savannah but I would like to find one in this area. I live in Bluffton SC, just outside of Hilton Head Island.
