Well, this group actually doesn't exist yet. I'm a fairly experienced amateur clawhammer banjo player in the Springfield, IL, area, and I'm interested in getting together with others who share my interest in this technique/style. While I'm not planning on becoming a formal teacher, I would enjoy being some sort of helper or mentor in an informal group setting.
