The Flying Toads are a multi-instrumental band playing inventive arrangements of Irish music. Their extensive repertoire ranges from lively jigs and reels to high-energy songs and haunting ballads – exciting for listening and ideal for dancing. The name "The Flying Toads" came about as a spoonerism of the Irish hornpipe "The Flowing Tide"
