May 07 Music Circle

Maybe it's the weather, maybe it's the Holiday. Or, maybe, it's something I said, but last night's circle was a little sparse on players!

There was a grand total of 6 people attending, 2 just to listen for awhile, but I hopefully convinced them to bring their instruments next time, A folk-style fingerpicker with a Bacon longneck, who left after the first hour, j-walk, Big Jim and myself.

We played a lot of tunes, tried out j-walk's new Bowlin Fretless, and picked up a couple of nice tidbits from Jim. A very relaxing and intimate musical time.

Of course, the mic on my tape recorder was turned off, so there is no audible record of the evening, just 2 hours of blank tape!

Hopefully, I'll have a digital recorder by the next meeting, which, by the way, will be on June 29th.
