Local sessions.

Where can I find some local Irish music sessions to listen to and maybe participate. I am a self taught whistle player with about a dozen tunes under my belt but have never played music with other people. I don't know if I can play up to speed after listening to some of my favorite artists they play a pretty fast tempo. Submitted by Brian on Mon, 2008/02/11 - 2:21pm.

There's a session the 2nd and 4th Saturday each month from 3-6 at the Gaf (Gregory and Wornall). Bring your whistle and feel free to join in if you know the tune.
