After meeting at the Mirth for the last two months we finally got the nod from Johnnys Tavern to do our first Sunday sessions there from 3-6, provided they don't have a conflict with big act. I'll know the week before and let everyone else know if we have the green light.

Johnnys is a high profile pub with good reputation, lots of room, good food and a fully stocked bar. It's alot like the GAF in it's ambience and patronage, just a little better established in the local community. After we've done it a couple of times we'll pick up interested people by word of mouth, which is one of the more effective promotional vehicles in Lawrence.

Johnnys is located on the north side of the bridge, 401 N 2nd St.

Hope to see you there.

Willypete - I'd heard about

Willypete - I'd heard about this through the word of mouth channels too. If you think it is appropriate, post the details of this session to the public side of the folkjam site too. http://www.folkjam.org/node/add/jam
