JJ 29 Post Game

Another small intimate JJ gathering, with Stan and Lou joining me for music and pizza a-plenty. Lots of playing of the songs I posted, and some good serious practice on Lou's "Unchained Melody." I also realized, we all had 1st time Jam guitars. Stan with his new Fender, Lou with his customized Dean A/E and my with my Gretsch Americana. Now we just need to pick a dates and songs for...wow...the Big Three Oh...JJ 30! Not sure what happened to Annie and Patrick...hope we'll see you next time! Sorry about missing last time -- something exploded in my neighborhood Friday night and some sort of power surge killed my DSL modem, my computer speakers, my printer, and a DVD burner (fortunately my computer was ok). I spent the next few days trying to get replacements (and a better surge protector), only to find that the equipment was fine, only the individual power adapters / cables had been damaged. I had limited internet access until I got my new modem yesterday, which I don't need.
The 17th should be ok. I'm playing in a wedding the night before, but I should be free Saturday.

Sorry, I'll have to miss this one. I'll be in Bonaire scuba diving. Have a great jam and hopefully I'll be able to make it in June.

Those of you aren't available on the 17th are supposed to suggest a Saturday when you ARE available so that I can set a date when the most people can make it!
If I don't get any better ideas, I'll just go ahead an call it for the 17th so there's time to plan, but we still have time to make it later in the month if that's better for folks.
I figured Mother's Day weekend would probably be a bad choice.

Wow, May snuck up on me...I forgot how many days hath April.
Oh well.
If I don't get more input by the end of the day, I'll go ahead and call JJXXX for the 24th.
We should start thinking about some sort of outdoor summer thing as well.

What was the original date? I can probably make the 24th, no idea what will happen between then and now however. My personal preference is for the 10th or 17th.
