Picture Upload Problems

Scott, I've been trying to upload a new avatar without success. I have deleted the old picture several times and uploaded the new one, but the old one keeps appearing. I was trying to upload too large a picture at first, but since have downsized to 29kb. What am I doing wrong? Roger Submitted by Roger Fox on Sun, 2008/01/20 - 9:18am

It appears that you have a new picture on your profile (an accordion). I had another user report this same problem about three weeks ago. We believe that the root cause was that his browser was caching the old image. Since we don't change the name of the image for your newly uploaded avatar (we just overwrite the old one) it is possible that your browser is getting your old avatar from it's local cache.
Can you refresh your user profile page (or try another browser) and let me know if your avatar shows as the new image?

Refreshing did a trick. It now shows the new avatar.
