Today a new layout for the site went live, and we hope you like it.

As the site grew our previous layout was becoming increasingly cluttered and visually busy. We've been busy too giving the site's navigation and visuals some significant attention. Our primary goal with the redesign was simplicity. How did we do?

I'm personally very happy with how the menus and the city search bar turned out in the header.

Scott

PS: A big thank you to the handful of users who have been beta testing this new layout since January 1st. Your feedback and participation was very helpful.

Awesome indeed

Thanks, Ed. I think the site layout is awesome too and Scott deserves %100 of the credit on this one. He has worked on the design and implementation of the new look for a long time and the effort has certainly shows.

We appreciate your support for the work we have done with the site and in the acoustic music community at large which we all love. We hope you will keep checking back as we roll out new features and fun in the months to come!

Thanks again.

Shawn

Great stuff this new layout!

Greetings Scott and Shawn,

I really like the new look. It is certainly uncluttered and very easy to navigate. Thank you again for all your hard work in offering a way for musicians and appreciators of the music to come together and carry on the many musical traditions represented on the site.

All the best!

Peace,
Ed
