Looking for a Jammin' Group
24 Oct 2009
I live in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. I am retired and have recently switched from guitar to the dobro. Yes, they're still dobros to me (small d). I don't care for the term "reso". I have a decent solo catalog and can usually play most breaks and fill-ins, and am trying to learn more. My playing sound is similar to Clarence "Hound Dog" Jackson/Tut Taylor style. I've been to a local jam where no one knows when to change chords, which will seriously mess up a picker's concentration. So I am looking for a recurring jamming session within 50 miles. Thanks for listening.
