Logout?

I thought that I remembered a "logout" link but I don't see it now. I think it could be important to have a logout, and also maybe timed cookies or "opt-in" "remember me on this comptuter" options at login. Contributors might want to edit things from public stations, but they won't want the login to stay active in that case. Submitted by vrteach on Wed, 2007/02/28 - 5:29pm.

Thanks for the suggestion Erich. Logout now appears in the gray bar, and longer usernames are trimmed in the display - although you'll never see that. :)

I see. It would certainly fit for me, but I have a fairly short user name and a high resolution monitor.

It was there in our early layouts, but then came users with really long names, which is fine by us, but that caused layout problems in that little gray bar, especially on smaller screens. It would get too long and then fall apart, so I trimmed back what was in there.
Your point is well made though. I'll see if I can shore up the way we lay that part of the screen out to cope better with very long user names while also allowing space for the logout link

Sure enough, there it is.
Maybe it could also be in the little gray part on the upper right, which has username|help, and has login|register when one is not logged in.

It is right down near the bottom of the menu, which we are thinking has gotten too long.
