Easy access to short url

This may already be in place, but I haven't found it. I use folkjam entries for when I refer other people to events, but the URL that is made up of the name of the event is often very long, and awkward to paste into an email, or include on handouts. That's why you use the short "node & number" version on the pdf jam reports. My example is: http://www.folkjam.org/recurring-jam/us/illinois/shelbyville/illinois-ol... clear and meaningful, but awkward. I'd like easy access to the short version: http://www.folkjam.org/node/4192 I got this by looking at the URL for the RSS feed, and then modifying the line in my address bar, after looking at examples in the "local jam report" (this event is too far down in the list to be shown on the report). I would think that the short url could be included in the area that has the RSS feed and email about this event links. Submitted by vrteach on Thu, 2008/02/14 - 9:39am.

I have that change queued up in my development box already. It is commented out while I work on getting another big body of work released to the site.
Stay tuned. Another big feature is going to hit production tomorrow.
And then I'll get this very minor and quite necessary change in place.
