AFG meeting/ Living Tradition jam
Hello and this is my 1st logging ever. I just wanted to report about my music experience of yesterday Saturday March 28th. First of all, the Association of Fingerstyle Guitar meeting in Fullerton Ca. was great. I was honored by being allowed to do a 15 minute spot. Every one in the audience plays guitar so I thought I needed to create something interesting for them. After my mini set the compliments were mostly about the song Puff (the magic dragon song) the 1st finger picking song that I learned. What I am saying here is, in the future I can always count on the basics of good old folk music. After my time Jeff Linsky did his excellent workshop and performance. Awesome uncanny musician. After all of this , I went to the monthly Living tradition jam/potluck/Contra dance. A very Irish musiced bunch they are. All levels of players there. Always enjoyable.
