ABC player for palm pilot devices

I just saw a reference to this flow by on the fiddle-l and thought it was a great idea. It is a palm OS program that will play ABC tunes and show notation. If you already carry a phone such as the Treo, this is an interesting way to carry along a tune database so that you can keep track of how tunes start.

Palm m515 ABC notation

Hi - A friend gave me a Palm m515 - I got it workin' So I searched the session dot org for Palm Pilot and found a discussion that led me here. I like ABC and want to use it on my Palm but I don't remember how to make a bar sign, and I have been using the small case letter L. This leads to a lot of error messages and eventually the program corrects them, still it would be nice to know how to enter the correct character. Can anyone advise me on how to make the correct character for a bar sign in ABC on the Palm m515 ?

It would be so handy to have a tune list with just the first few measures of tunes, titles, lyrics, and key signatures

Braveharp,

I've not put this program onto my treo yet. I learned of it last month and thought it was a great idea, but with two little ones I've simply not made the time yet. I agree with you that having a library of tunes on a device I already carry would be fabulous.

Hopefully somebody else who uses this app can help us.
