This forum is for discussion of general jam topics which are not location specific. What's the most interesting jam you've been to lately? What sorts of styles do you like to play? It's all fair game in here.

There may not be a jam session that interests you in your area. Find other players and start your own jam through this forum. Once the jam starts be sure to post it here on folkjam. :)

We all have lists of tunes that we love to play, many of which are 'standards' in our local circles. What is on your list of standard tunes? Include the region and musical style in your post if you think that is relevant.

People who enjoy making music often also love discussions about what they play, when they play, how they sing or what they need to play better. Whether you want the rundown on an instrument your are sizing for purchase or want to explain that crazy thing you do on the mandolin, come on in and share it with the world.

If you display a folkjam.org logo on your instrument case, on your instrument, or anywhere else we'd like to see it. Because we disallow image posts in our forums, you'll have to send us the photo and we'll post it here on your behalf.
