Tenth Annual Monumental Fiddling Championships
The 10th Annual Monumental Fiddling Championship and Acoustic Band Contest, a totally free event, will be taking place on Saturday, May 24, at the Homestead National Monument in Beatrice, Nebraska. Winners will share $1,000.00 in prize money, and there will be a drawing for a free violin outfit.
The festivities start at 10 AM with a fiddling workshop with Deborah Greenblatt. Registration for the Fiddle Contest begins at noon, and the contest and performances will last all afternoon, and end with a grand finale show beginning at 7 PM.
The Monumental Fiddling Championship and Acoustic Band Contest is sponsored in part by the
Nebraska Arts Council, Leigh F. Coffin, Jane M. Coffin, and Leigh M. Coffin Foundation and Eastern National Bookstore.
