Description
The 30th annual Winter Bluegrass Music Festival, sponsored by the Tri-State Bluegrass Association, will be Feb. 15 and 16 at the Quality Inn and Suites.
On the program will be Gerald Evans and Paradise from Ohio; Wildwood Valley Boys from Ohio; Arlington, from Fredericktown; Kentucky Blue from Kentucky; Mark Phillips & IIIrd Generation, from Oklahoma; and Frank Vaughn & Second Time Around, from Troy.
The festival will begin at 6:15 p.m. Friday, Feb. 15, and continue on Saturday with a Fiddle and Guitar Workshop at 11 a.m. Concerts will begin at noon on Saturday, Feb. 16. After a supper break at 5 p.m., the music on stage will resume at 7 p.m. The Quality Inn will offer buffets and breakfast, lunch and dinner in the dining room. Many exhibitors and crafts people will be set up, and jam sessions will be plentiful.
Tickets will be available at the door a $25 for the weekend; $12 for Friday; $12 for Saturday afternoon or night; or $20 for both Saturday.
