Roots n' Blues n' BBQ

This is a nationally recognized blues and roots (bluegrass, traditional country, old-time music) festival in Columbia Missouri featuring big name artists - one of this year's headliners is the Del McCoury Band. There is also a BBQ contest. There are very good restaurants of all varieties on the festival grounds and Hoss' Market and Rotisserie, the best BBQ vendor in mid Missouri, will be selling their wonderful food. The festival is being held in downtown Columbia, which abounds with good hotels and motels.
