Fortune Lake Festival - Crystal Falls, Saturday, May 10, 2008

The 5th Annual Fortune Lake Festival will be held from 9 am to 9:30 pm CT on Saturday, May 10, 2008 at Fortune Lake Camp in Crystal Falls. This year's festival will feature morning music classes, afternoon jam and dance sessions and an evening concert. Musician teachers and performers will include Glen and Judi Morningstar, the musicians of Detour (Mike Sumner, Zak Bunce, Scott Zylstra, Peter Knupfer, and Jeff Rose), Evan Premo and Mary Bonhag (Duo Borealis), Corinne Rockow, Kay Seppala, and the Front Parlor Dance Band. Music and dance classes will include: guitar, hammer dulcimer, fiddle, mandolin, banjo, family music making, kantele, shape-note singing, contra dancing and a "slow jam".
