The American Folk Festival on the Bangor Waterfront is a celebration of multi-cultural traditional arts - music, dance, crafts, food and storytelling. In 2005, the American Folk Festival was introduced as a continuation of the tradition begun by the National Folk Festival, held in Bangor from 2002 - 2004.
# The American Folk Festival presents music, dance and other performing arts representing cultural traditions from across America and the world.
# The AFF is free of charge, but donations are solicited at the event.
