We're a small friendly contest, looking to grow, in southeastern Massachusetts (near Cape Cod).

COME PLAY and WIN one of 15 CASH PRIZES and/or 20 RIBBONS (last year everyone won money),
Pre-register and deduct $5 (the Fair admission charge)
Mail checks to "Town of Rochester Country Fair"

The Fiddle Contest is for all acoustic violin family instruments.
Divisions: Novice, Youth, Senior, and Open (frequent winners may be required to join Open).

Novice FREE, Youth $5, Senior $10, Open $10.
All contestants will play 2 or 3 tunes:
a warm-up (optional), a tune of choice, and a waltz.
No medleys, double-shuffling, or trick fiddling.

Ribbons for 1st through 5th place, plus
Youth (under 18): 1st $50, 2nd $35, 3rd $25, 4th $20, 5th $15
Senior (over 55): 1st $75, 2nd $50, 3rd $30, 4th $25, 5th $20
Open: 1st $150, 2nd $100, 3rd $50, 4th $30, 5th $25
Registration: by mail, or beginning at Noon.
Contest begins at (about) 1 pm
