all acoustic, all folk

NO DOGS ALLOWED!!

camp in the rough with porta-potties(the campground is a cow pasture until 5 minutes before the festival starts) by reservation only...to keep out the riff-raff!!

no paid acts...you can have 15 minutes on stage (very good sound system provided by organizers) no matter your talent level...keep it clean...don't hog the stage...you know who you hogs are!!

technically a church festival, but not very churchy...quite a bit of good jamming in the campground

2009 will be the 42nd annual fest...which makes for a lot of very long standing friends

donations/camping fees allow several very small local, rural churches to balance their books for the year

good basic church food in the church basement sat afternoon/evening and sun morn/afternoon

campfires allowed...but be sure to dig a pit first...so bring a shovel...which also helps with cowpie relocation

corresponds with meteor showers, which can be a lot of fun
