Impromptu demonstrations and performances of early 19th century music and dancing will occur throughout the pioneer village of New Salem. Hours are 10am - 5pm each day. The park sets up straw bales for jam sessions, and there is a great deal of bluegrass, old-time, and other music going on. Camping is available and there are evening concerts.
