The festival takes place in Gebhard Woods State Park in Morris, Illinois on the 2nd weekend of June annually. It features performances, workshops, jam sessions, instrument vendors etc. Featured instruments are Hammered Dulcimer and Mountain Dulcimer, Harp and Autoharp. Lots of music!

Located in the I&M Canal National Heritage Corridor, Gebhard Woods State Park features stately oak trees and lovely fishing ponds adjacent to the historic canal with its 50-mile-long hiking/biking trail. Morris, Illinois is located at the intersection of U.S.6 and S.R.47 and is easily accessed via Interstate 80 (exit 112). Primitive camping is available on site. The park is handicapped-accessible, and HANDS volunteers will also provide additional assistance to
persons with disabilities. Because the event is held in a State park, no admission fee may be charged, but a voluntary donation is requested.

Incorrect address for Homepage

The Homepage looks to be www.gwdf.org not the address listed. The site also looks to be somewhat out of date as it still lists 2005 raffle prizes.

thanks

I have corrected the home page to http://www.gwdf.org/ , thanks for the heads up.

The homepage for the site indicates it was last updated in February of 2007, so I'm guessing the site is reasonably accurate in terms of its festival info. I'm sure someone will be posting the 2008 dates there soon.
