Florida Fiddlers Convention
The Florida Fiddlers Convention 2012 will be held the weekend of October 19 - 21 at the Otter Springs Campground , Trenton, FL Gilcrest County . Peter Sutherland will be the featured performer this year , Peter Sutherland is an Affilate Artist at Middlebury College, Vermont who also teaches begining Fiddle, Banjo and Mandolin. Peter has Collaborated with many Bands and produced many recordings since beginin his career as a Touring Muscian in 1976. The 2012 Convention again includes a schedule of Jams , Workshops , String Band Contest and Contra Dance . The price for the weekend events is $50 for members $60 non-members with Family discounts available. A Saturday catered Dinner is also available for an additional $10.
