Jim & Kim Lansford concert w/jam following Start: 26 Sep 2009 8:00 pm End: 26 Sep 2009 11:59 pm Jim and Kim Lansford live on a small farm in the southwest Missouri Ozarks near Galena in Stone County. Since 1980 they have performed together at festivals, concerts, workshops and dances across the country. Jim & Kim's performances feature an abundance of primal and powerful early country duet singing along with elegant, often understated instrumental accompaniment. At the Gaf-Traditional Irish Session (Weekly on 2nd Saturday, 4th Saturday) Start: This can be a power session with up to 15 musicians sometimes. Very common to see 6-10. We play mainly 'pure drop' traditional irish tunes. *The craic is mighty* The Gaf has good food, drinks and a very supportive landlord. There is always a good crowd of punters, including a bevy of lovely ladies who come for the tunes, drinks, dancing and who generally like to get out of line.
