These acoustic-only jams are free and open to the general public. Coffee and refreshments are provided. We jam on the 1st, 2nd and 5th Saturdays each month, 5 to 11 pm, at The Wells Cultural Center 638 North Street, Lafayette, Indiana. Lafayette Bluegrass Jammers is sponsered by the Tippecanoe Arts Federation.
Enter throught the door on the west side on the building. The jam is in the basement level and the front door to the building is kept locked.
Children are encouraged to participate. Beginners are always welcome.
There are separate areas for bluegrass and old-time.

A casual jam focusing primarily on old-time folk music with some traditional bluegrass. Arrangements are usually played pretty slow, so this is a good jam for beginners to come and learn new tunes.
