This is a ladies only folk and bluegrass jam on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month!!! The jam is at The Shining Star Cafe on First St. in Nederland, Co. The pick starts at 3pm and is LADIES ONLY until 5:30 when it is then open to all. Two female led bands (the Mile Markers and The Gristle Gals) started this jam to celebrate women musicians and the music they make. Start: 2:00 pm

We primarily play American old-time music for our own enjoyment. The music we play sometimes takes excursions to the traditional musical styles of New England, French Canada, or Ireland. We welcome musicians who play fiddle, banjo, guitar, mandolin, bass, hammered dulcimer, and other acoustic instruments. We get together once a month at various locations in the Denver metro area, on the 4th Sunday of each month. | ||
