stands as a pillar of rock guitar songwriting and techinique. You will open
said scroll and learn the complete song in all its epic glory. Basic
fingerpicking in the main riff, strumming and seventh chords in the bridge,
mighty pentatonic soloing will be learned by all the student squires.

intermediate players. All instruments welcome and encouraged.

basic ragas (scales) that give Hindustani music it's distinctive sound. Also
cover several melodies and numerous practice patterns for improv and
soloing. Workshop is open to all stringed instruments and voice.

fun group class. Learn phrasing, improvising, ornaments (licks and fills), scat
singing, vocal texture variations, and all the other vocal licks you've heard
singers do but couldn't figure out.
Attention songwriters! Our bi-monthly gathering gives active songwriters a
forum to share songs, have their material critiqued, and get experience
performing. Receive professional feedback, performance notes, songwriting
tips, and exercises. Please come prepared to perform at least 1 song for the
class.
In this culture we often think of drums and percussion as "male"
instruments, however a deeper look shows that women have actually
played a prominent role in the history of these instruments. Take a look at
the history of women and percussion, and learn some basic playing
techniques on conga, bongos and other hand drums. Bring drums if you
have them, we'll provide them if you don't.
