We meet on the third Saturday of November for our regular jam session where we play primarily contra dance tunes, Irish and old time songs. Bluegrass, gospel and other acoustic music are certainly welcome, we just tend towards the tunes in our tune book.

We do potluck at 6:00 and jam until 10:00. We play the old time fiddle tunes on fiddles, banjos, mandolins, guitars and such. All acoustic. We’d love to have you join us. We have a nice wood floor, cloggers welcome.

The Kansas City Area Bluegrass Music Club has monthly jams on the 2nd Friday of the month, October thru May, in Independence, MO (15 miles east of KC, on I-70).
