The Kansas State Fiddling and Picking Championships will be celebrating their 28th year in 2008. Some of the best musicians from around the state will gather in order to celebrate traditional acoustic music. The two-day event will be held on August 23th and 24th at South Park, in Lawrence, Kansas. Admission to all events in free; there is a $5 entry fee for contestants. Pre-registration for contests can be done at www.kansasfiddlingandpicking.org. Registration for entering competitions is 20-minutes before each contest. | ||
