Mountain Dulcimer Week with ”hands-on” classes in the instrument for beginner, intermediate, and advanced musicians on the campus of Shenandoah University Start: 7:00 pm

The weekly Friday night jam sessions are dedicated to no holds barred bluegrass, old-time, and country music. Participants range in age from pre-teens to, well lets just say a considerable bit older than that. Musical ability is similarly wide-ranging. Especially during the warmer months, it is not unusual for as many as 30 to 40 people to show up, some picking, some just listening and enjoying the music. Also, there is a beginner jam/slow jam at the shop every Thursday evening from 7:00 until 9:00. | ||
