Held at Longview Community College in Lee's Summit, MO, includes workshops, jams, and concerts. Workshops in all acoustic instruments including Hammered and Mountain dulcimers. Music Vendors, Jam Sessions and evening concerts are also a part of the JAM. Advance registration discounts until May 15th, Students are half price with ID. A jam session hosted by the founders of folkjam.org runs in the student center on the campus of Longview Community College at the Jubilee of Acoustic Music. This acoustic jam is open to anybody - no ticket to the Jubilee of Acoustic Music is required. Bring your instrument and play some acoustic music with us. We'll play fiddle tunes, Bluegrass, Gospel, Irish, Country, Old-Time, Contra dance tunes - whatever you wish. If you can lead it, call it out and we'll play it. Start:
After the final Saturday night concerts come join an open jam session where you can play with many of the teachers and performers from the 2008 Jubilee of Acoustic Music. You might have the opportunity to play with Jacquie Manning, Rich Prezioso, Christie Burns, Butch Ross, Dana Hamilton, Carl Cook, Cindy Egger-Farris, Princess Harris, Karen Daniels, Troy Pulver, Emily Wyatt, Martha Haehl, Richelle Basgall, Chris Carr and Rachel Bowerman. | ||

KKFI 90.1FM hosts this eclectic street party and jam session that will feature acoustic music from Noon until 4pm followed by an electric jam from 4pm until 8pm. The acoustic jam will likely include a variety of music, including bluegrass, folk, blues, traditional, celtic, unplugged pop-rock, original and topical. There will be several areas for spontaneous jams, along the lines of Winfield or Dave Lizor jams. All levels of talent encouraged to participate. Start:
