Our slogan "Play well with others" sums up the goal of our community - to get out and play music with other musicians. We've found it is a fabulously fun way to learn.

Browse to find jams in your city or in locations you travel to. You may want to sign up with folkjam to add yourself to the jam map to let people know you are interested in finding other musicians to play with.

Ready to get your own jam started? Create a group on folkjam.org, put it on the map and invite other users to join. Use your private group forum to organize dates to play together.

Do you run a jam or want to help bring new musicians to the sessions? Add your jam to the maps on the site to help promote it.
