Special People--Special Gifts!

Special People--Special Gifts! Indeed! We in the West Tennessee area have been truly blessed with lots of special people with special gifts: Troy Castleberry, Doug Cole, Gary Williams, Brent Davis, Jim Milford, Marty Kempke, and our latest bluegrass angel, Gary Johnson. Their stars shone brightly for a brief moment in time, and then they were gone. Gary Johnson knew every bluegrass song ever sung by anybody. His last performance was a brief appearance onstage with the Claire Lynch Band at the Lucy Opry on August 11, 2007. Our lives are richer because of each of these people and we shall miss them.
