It's All About the Music!

It's all about the music! Things are jumpin' at the Collierville Church of the Redeemer (Episcopal) each Friday night! So much music--so little time! And what's this? We'll be back by mid-April (we hope!) on the Collierville Historic Town Square to begin our NINTH year of spring-summer-fall jammin' in the most beautiful location anywhere! From my simple suggestion to a few pickers to huge jammin' groups all over Confederate Park--all in nine years' time! The restaurants are open, the picnicking families are already makin' pimento cheese sandwiches, musicians are changing strings, and we're beginning to itch. . .just at the thought of headin' back to the Collierville Historic Town Square. How good is this!!!

And since you asked. . .yes, "Breakin' Up Winter" is Mar. 7-9, 2008, at beautiful Cedars of Lebanon State Park, just off I-40 at exit 238 in Lebanon, TN. It is an incredible weekend of old-time string band jams, talks by folks in the know, more jams, wax cylinder recordings of your band's old-time sound, vendors, more jams, buy-sell-swap of instruments, and, um...more jams!
