IBMA in Nashville, TN
IBMA in Nashville, TN: October 1-7, 2007 (www.ibma.org) is "the" event of the year! Awards, showcases, and rubbin' elbows with who's who in bluegrass. Catch the Grand Ole Opry Signature Show, too. Oh, and some grand FREE entertainment over at Ernest Tubb Record Shop! Your favorite performers will likely be there, and many are candidates for the top prizes in each category.
A similar event, but one which is more jammer-friendly is the SPBGMA Awards Show during the first weekend of February, 2008. It is held at the Airport Sheraton Hotel in Nashville, TN. (www.spbgma.com)
Oh! And there's the International Folk Alliance Conference right there in the banner at the top of the page...February 20-24, 2008 -- Memphis Marriott Hotel.

If you make it out the IBMA event then be sure to look for your friendly neighborhood folkjam logo in the room where they will be holding the old time concert and jam session. We are proud sponsors of the event this year and our banner will be riding high while the picks and fingers fly.
We will also be helping to sponsor the jam rooms at the Folk Alliance Conference in Feb, which we are really excited about. Scott and I are still sizing up whether or not we can personally make it to that event but we certainly hope to.
