A Little About Me (Musically)

I have had a love for music all my life. I used to play (read pound) on our piano we had growing up as a kid. I never took formal lessons till I was in my 30's though. I started out playing trumpet in band in 5th grade, and did fairly well. When The high school band needed a baritone player, I was asked to switch over and play that. I took guitar lessons in my 20's. I played harmonica some in my 30's. Now I am just about to turn 52, I have played the 5 string banjo for 2 years, and have just started playing around with the mandolin and fiddlin' with a fiddle. WHEW! While I haven't mastered any one of those instruments, I have had a grand time playing all of them. And I can play a few tunes on each. I am currently concentratrating most of my efforts on the banjo, and am looking for others with like musical interests to jam with.
