Biography

My brother passed away a tad over a month ago. He could play anything that had strings. His musical instruments were passed on to me.
I started playing piano when I was 6 and continued through college but I found a guitar was easier to carry around. I was trained in classical music but the guitar opened up a creative side in me. I bought my first banjo when I was 20. I think it was an Aida. I started lessons but was handicapped with the classical training I had. I upgraded to a Fender Leo but it didn't help my playing!
Then the kids came along and I lost my way with practicing my music. It's been 30 years now and I feel this drive to get back into it. Besides!!! I feel a need to pass not just the instruments but also the knowledge on how to play them to my kids.
SO!!! I guess I better get busy, huh???
