Biography

Got into Old Time Clawhammer at the beginning of college in the L.A. area-
got involved in the Old Time music scene down there '72-'76.
Moved to Northern California, and got rather isolated, but kept playing on my own
till 1990. Took up fiddle again in May 2005. Chops are mostly back, but I have my good and bad days!
It's hard not to dabble a bit in other genres, including Scandinavian, Irish, and Scottish fiddling.

I also like to sing old country and minstrel songs,
preferably from the 1800's.
