Betse Ellis: fiddler, teacher

Betse is the fiddler for The Wilders, a honky-tonk/old time band from Kansas City, Missouri. The Wilders currently tour nationally and internationally.

Betse is also a fiddle teacher. Currently, she is not accepting new students due to her schedule, but she does teach occasional group workshops. She specializes in teaching good playing technique, as in ergonomic positions, efficient fingering, bow control, and fingerboard knowledge. Betse also teaches basic music theory. Her interest is in helping others to have an easier time with playing the instrument.
